Ironwood Country Club is located at 12627 Pacific Street. It is a private club, where membership is required. Ironwood offers a wide variety of amenities to its members. Ironwood has some of the finest golf facilities in the state of Nebraska. These include an 18 hole championship golf course, two driving ranges, and a putting green. Ironwood also offers a state-of-the-art clubhouse with exclusive access to and use of fine dining, meeting rooms, 19th Hole Sports Bar, locker rooms, full-service kitchens, pro shop, steam room, and fitness room. The club also offers two swimming pools complete with a diving board, large curly slide and a separate baby pool. There is also a new snack shack located in the pool house and features a birthday room. Ironwood also has four competition level tennis courts with a ball machine and night lights for evening enjoyment.

Ironwood Country Club was completed and open for play in 1924. It was at that time known as Highland Country Club. The course was designed by William Langford and Theodore Moraeu. The golf course plays to just under 6,800 yard from the championship tees. The men's tees are 6,450 yards and the ladies play from 5,800 yards. The fairways are Poa Anna and Rye. The greens and tees are Bent grass while the rough is mostly Kentucky Blue. The course falls under the category of a parkland layout. The fairways are narrow and the greens are small by today's standards. Ironwood is host to the Cox Classic qualify round on the Monday before the tournament starts. The Head Golf Professional is Don Germer and the Greens Superintendent is John Yokel.
